The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America has chosen ACS Technologies' Parish Data System (PDS) to provide software to parishes across the U.S. The move is part of a Parish Management Systems Initiative to strengthen administration practices across the parishes of the Archdiocese.

FLORENCE, SC: June 10, 2011 – The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America has chosen ACS Technologies' Parish Data System™ (PDS) to provide software to parishes across the U.S. The move is part of a Parish Management Systems Initiative to strengthen administration practices across the parishes of the Archdiocese.
The Archdiocese evaluation team reviewed solutions from a total of five vendors interested in providing a solution, and Parish Data System emerged as the clear leader, earning the highest overall scores in the evaluation process, as well as providing the most cost effective solution.
“This partnership with PDS will bring standardized recording and reporting to the financial, stewardship, pastoral and day-to-day operations and management of the parish,” said Nick Sialmas , head of the search committee at the Archdiocese. “We are confident Parish Data System is up to the job.”

The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America will begin the software transition to Parish Data System with a select number of parishes, and a phased rollout of the software to the parishes across each of the Metropolises and the Archdiocesan District will begin in September 2011.
