BBFI Implements ACS Technologies Software Services For New National Church Planting Office Project
BBFI's New National Church Planting Office (NCPO) will Utilize ACS Technologies Software Services to Start 100 New Churches This Year
FLORENCE, SC, June 6, 2005 - ACS Technologies today announces that Baptist Bible Fellowship International (BBFI) has chosen ACS Church Planter Management System (CPMS) to help run its new National Church Planting Office (NCPO). This new office has been established by BBFI to oversee the efforts to develop and equip churches and church plants for the ministry of starting new churches throughout the world. The organization's goal is to enlist, train, equip, and qualify 100 church plants during 2005 with a great commission vision, and ACS CPMS software will help support them achieve this goal. This software will aid the NCPO in developing a financial office that will provide financial consulting services, provide materials and resources that will produce a strong stewardship foundation for every local church.
"When we first heard that ACS Technologies was providing specialized software for the management of church planting, we were very interested to find out how these tools could help BBFI reach its goals," comments Bill Monroe, president of BBFI and pastor of Florence Baptist Temple in Florence, South Carolina. "My church has benefited greatly from utilizing ACS for nearly 20 years, and I am excited about using the company's new church planting software for my current work with BBFI."
The first BBFI church planter training meeting was held at Florence Baptist Temple at the end of January and included 31 church planters and instructors from around the country. The meeting included training on ACS CPMS in order to prepare planters for their jobs.
"We are very excited about all the features that CPMS will offer our church plants. From managing visitor and membership information, to keeping track of contributions, outreach ministry tracking and private counseling notes, the ACS CPMS package will provide us with exactly the tools we'll need," states Wayne Guinn, Director of Finance for the National Church Planting Office.
The Church Planter Management System is a unique system specifically designed to help new church plants and planters manage all of the information generated in the course of running a church. From tracking a person's spiritual giftedness, prayer concerns, reminders of birthday, anniversary, and other special days, CPMS stores it all and keeps your most relevant information within reach. Even more, the software provides a comprehensive means of monitoring an individual's spiritual development from a new believer to an active, serving member.
"This endeavor is a terrific example of the partnership we make with denominational offices or affiliated groups like BBFI. We are committed to serving the full spectrum of churches, from new plants to mega-churches, and to providing software and services to help fulfill their goals." Hal Campbell comments, president and CEO of ACS Technologies. "No other company offers churches and faith-based offices as full a suite of product and service solutions as ACS Technologies, all backed by a 27-year track record of success."
The BBFI implementation includes customized resources for church plants, specially branded packaging, and targeted training opportunities. "It means a lot that our initiative gets such personal attention, while at the same time we get the benefits that come from working with an industry leader like ACS Technologies," notes Pastor Wayne Guinn, Director of Finance for the BBFI National Church Planting Office.
