ACS Partners with Church Pension Group to Provide Specialized Solutions to Episcopal Parishes
Episcopal Parishes Needs to be Met Through New ACS Software Products
FLORENCE, SC, February 24, 2005—ACS Technologies and the Church Pension Group, an official agency of the Episcopal Church, today announce an agreement to make church administration easier for Episcopal parishes around the country.
This relationship between ACS Technologies and CPG begins with creating a special version of ACS 7.0 for Episcopal parishes and will include a new product to create the denomination's annual parochial report. ACS 7.0 will be customized to handle the specific needs of Episcopal parishes, including membership management, financial management and reporting functions, creating one integrated application. These new programs will be piloting in selected dioceses this summer with nationwide release planned for later this year.
“We are excited to be working with CPG in order to provide targeted solutions to Episcopal institutions,” comments Hal Campbell, President and CEO of ACS Technologies. “We already serve many Episcopal parishes and dioceses, and look forward to building relationships with many more. Serving churches is what ACS Technologies is all about and we are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with CPG to accomplish this.”
“Many of our parishes and dioceses have asked for assistance with financial and managerial tools to help sustain excellence in ministry,” comments Linda Puckett, Vice President of Strategy and Service Development for CPG. “Rather than building our own software platform, we have decided to work with ACS Technologies because they are a leader in church management software and do an excellent job of providing quality software products, services and support.”
ACS Technologies currently serves over 1,100 Episcopal organizations around the country. This new relationship with CPG is indicative of the company's interest in partnering with denominational agencies to create, distribute and support solutions that assist in making the day-to-day operations of churches run more smoothly.
