3/31/06 - Online Giving and Event Registration Tools Give Churches Ability to Reduce Administration, Increase Fundraising
Access ACS Provides Churches with New Tools to Accept Donations Online and Register People for Events and Take Payments with Ease

FLORENCE, SC, March 31, 2006—As more churches realize the great advantage in having a Web-based component to their desktop church management software, ACS Technologies (http://www.acstechnologies.com) continues to add features to its Web-based product, Access ACS, which complements the powerful desktop ACS program. Most recently, Access ACS has been upgraded to give churches the ability to take donations and tithes online and also register people for events and take payments for these events online.

“Taking payments and donations online is a great way for churches to reach out to their congregations and beyond to serve their communities,” comments Hal Campbell, president and CEO of ACS Technologies. “Our clients were looking for ways to reduce their administrative efforts and allow more people to donate funds and register for events with ease. These new tools within Access ACS will provide them with these features and more.”

Online Giving
With Access ACS, churches can provide a way for church members to give their tithes and special donations online from any location. Whether they are at home or away, members can be sure that through this completely secure Web page, their contributions will reach the church safely. Access ACS even allows for members to see a history of their contributions. The system has the capacity to let the church webmaster add a link to their church Web site to allow members to give online using credit cards and/or electronic checking (ACH).

Event Registration & Payments
With new tools to provide event registration and payment options online, churches can easily upload events and give members the option of paying for youth trips, Bible study materials and more. Events do not have to have a fee attached to them, as many church events are provided at no cost. Lists of upcoming events can be added to your church Web site and can assist in easily guiding people in selecting and registering for events.
