Margaret Smelser has been using ACS since 1986, at a total of six different churches throughout her career. When she began working as church administrator for Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, they had been using PowerChurch Plus. Through her past years of experience, she felt that ACS was a superior product, especially the Financial Suite, and recommended for Kirkwood to purchase it.

Maximum Success. The 24-year old church now successfully manages its 600 members and church functions through the People, Financial, and Schedule Manager modules. Kirkwood also utilizes support to maximize tools available through ACS.

Data Control. “I really enjoy being able to see clearly what’s coming in and going out—ACS allows me have access to this information. I love the versatility of how I can set up our chart of accounts. It’s a much better tool for us to use. I can generate reports with ease. With ACS, I can get break downs of data more easily—better access to our critical information, Smelser adds.
