We can help you reach out and personally connect and engage your visitors and attendees. Imagine the scenario below from outreach visitor to engaged member.
Visitor attends one of your outreach events during the week. She enjoys it and that evening, goes online to find out more. She likes your Web site, the service times are clearly visible, she identifies with your churches mission, your small groups and events look fun, and she is able to watch one of your Pastors sermons online. She decides to attend the 11am worship service on Sunday morning.
The next day, Visitor is greeted and welcomed by your team of welcoming volunteers and Pastor. She fills out a card with her name, contact information, and interests. That afternoon from home, your membership/outreach administrator puts this information straight into your system making it accessible to your outreach team.
Your outreach team leader receives an email through his Connections Google Gadget when he signs into his Google homepage on Sunday night telling him that there was a new visitor at your church. He looks at their information and based on their preferences he picks the best volunteer for the job.
Volunteer sees she has a message on her PDA the next day, telling her about Visitor and how to get in contact with her. After arranging to meet up the following afternoon she spends time with the visitor and learns about all her areas of interests and her family.
After her visit, Volunteer takes a break at a coffee shop and enters in all of visitor’s information into the system using her laptop. She also takes a moment to identify a few small groups and volunteering opportunities that might be of interest to the Visitor. She sends an email to Visitor with some details about the small groups and volunteer opportunities assigning members of the groups and volunteer leadership team to contact Visitor with more information.
Visitor receives a call from one of the small group leaders inviting her to their next meeting. They email her directions to their house and even call to reminder her on the day of the meeting.
While checking her email later on that day, Visitor also sees that the Volunteer Team has left her a message with available volunteering positions and details of the skills needed. She replies to the Volunteering Team, inquiring about a couple of the positions.
Visitor gets involved with your church and becomes an attendee. Her details are put into your system by your membership/outreach administrator. Visitor is sent an email letting her know how to access her small group, volunteering, and contributions information online. She signs up for the small group she visited the other night and for a volunteer position in your children’s ministry. Soon, she is sent an email from the small group leader accepting her as a member, and is screened and accepted as a volunteer. In just a few days Visitor has really become a part of your church.
Your pastor gets an email through his PDA that week letting him know that your church has a new attendee. Pastor sends her a welcoming email and makes a point of greeting her and getting to know her better the next Sunday at church.
