Network Services
Network Services include but are not limited to:
Up to four on-site visits per year. The following services
may be performed during each visit:
- Recommendation and implementation of
technologies that will benefit the network
functionality
- Installation of network hardware (patch
cables, cable termination, hubs, switches) at
the discretion of ACS Professional Services.
All equipment is paid for by the client
- Detailed inventory of current network and
workstation configuration
- Cable certification
- Monitoring/diagnostic analysis to determine
the health and base-line status of the network
- Workstation configuration checking and
correction, if needed, to optimize the use of
ACS applications
- Loading of up to 2 ACS updates
- Applying ACS monthly revisions through
remote connection
- Support for HP printers (installing drivers,
troubleshooting printing issues, searching for
newest driver or articles relating to issues
with the printer)
- Upgrading older operating systems to newer
operating system (ex. upgrading Windows 98
to Windows 2000 Professional). All software
licenses are paid for by the client
Additional services that are included:
- Telephone consultation of network-related
issues and one-hour reponse to return phone
calls during business hours 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Monday - Friday EST
- When a client calls with a network problem,
they become eligible to receive an on site visit
on the 2nd business day depending on:
travel conditions, the technician's
determination that the problem cannot be
resolved over the phone, or the client has not
exceeded the number of site visits included in
the contract, or the client chooses to pay for
an additional site visit
- Monthly remote monitoring of the network
determined by ACS Technologies Network
Services with Fluke One Touch equipment
(provided by ACS Technologies Network
Services) or Desktop Streaming technology
Additional on-site visits at the client's request will
be charged the then current professional
services rate per hour plus reasonable and
customary expenses.
