Promotion Getting Started Tips

Before beginning Promotion, here are a few things that you need to consider:

  • Do you want the structure of the Master Group you are promoting to stay the same?
  • What is the Start Month for the Master Group you want to promote?
  • Does the Start Month for the Master Group need to be changed?
  • Do you want to keep each group’s history separate?
  • Do you need to add or remove any new classes to your current structure?
  • Are there any teachers who do not currently teach that you need to add to a class?
  • Do you have any individuals that are not currently in a class and need to be added to one?
  • Have you planned for creating new classes and who you might want to be in them?
  • Do you need to add new class positions or change your current class positions?
  • Do you need to finish marking attendance for your individuals before promoting?
  • Have you printed all of the final Attendance reports that you need for your current groups before promoting?
  • Have you performed a recent backup of your ACS People Suite data?

The Online Training classes utilize the power of the Internet to bring our Training School material right to your workplace. Additionally, the ACS Training department offers tutorial videos that you can watch and follow along with at your leisure.
