What is online training?
Online courses move the learning experience out of the traditional classroom and into your world with live online interactive discussions. It is learning without geographical barriers. It is learning that relies on the Internet for accessing learning materials and interacting with experts and fellow learners.
How does online training work?
Instructor-led online courses are similar to classroom-style courses in that they are interactive, feature specific start and end times, and provide the same levels of expertise you would receive if you were in a live ACS Training classroom with personalized instructor feedback.
We use a 3rd party product so that you can experience a high level of instructor/class interaction to help keep you focused and motivated. The instructor uses Application Sharing, which enables us to illustrate real-world examples in ACS from the Instructor's local desktop.
Events are enriched by providing student documentation to each participant before the event. You can also provide us instant feedback about performance using the Evaluation Form.
Do I need ACS on my computer?
You do not need ACS on your computer in order to participate in the Online Training Session. All you need is an Internet connection, speakers, and a keyboard. In fact, you can take the course at home instead of at the office.
Do I need a microphone?
You will not need a microphone in order to participate in the class. As long as you have a keyboard, you can type in your questions instead of speaking them.
Do I have to have high speed Internet access?
We prefer that you have high speed Internet access to get the best out of the class. Even with high speed Internet access, you still may have issues with settings particular to your location.
