Instead, our interns have the opportunity to make meaningful and lasting contributions and gain valuable experience by working alongside our talented team. Example Opportunities

Our internships are available year-round and run for at least 12 weeks. We expect our interns to devote as many hours as possible to their internship in order to fully experience and contribute to the work. We look for interns in these areas:

Developers (Web & Mobile)

You’ll be placed in an Agile team and put to work immediately coding innovative applications for our customers. You’ll flex your coding muscles on a daily basis and be challenged by your team to solve problems and come up with creative solutions that serve our customers.

IT

You’ll solve problems and work on state-of-the-art equipment that keeps the company and our customers up and running – a big responsibility!

Product Management

As a Product Management intern, you will work side-by-side with our product management team to gain an understanding of market and product research, requirements gathering, and feature prioritization. In turn, you will help ensure we deliver valuable and meaningful products.

Joe

Joe Koehling

President & CEO, CFO

Joe serves as President & CEO and CFO. In this role, Joe is primarily responsible for strategic and financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment management. Joe came to ACS Technologies in 2018 from Aspen Grove Landscape Group where he served as the Regional Manager of Finance. With more than 30 years of financial management experience, Joe has lent his talents to companies throughout the country such as Whittman-Hart, Inc., Thomson Learning, and Immediate Impact Group. He has a bachelor’s degree from Thomas More College. Joe currently serves on the Board of Directors for several ministries including Imago Dei Christian Fellowship, The Father’s House, and Mark Barclay Ministries.

Cary

Cary Ashworth

Vice President, Human Resources

Cary serves as the Vice President of Human Resources and has implemented several productive programs and processes for the company. He joined ACS Technologies in 2012 with more than 20 years of progressive and strategic Human Resources leadership experience from multi-national corporations such as Roche Pharmaceuticals, Becton Dickinson, and Baxter Healthcare International. He has a business administration degree from East Carolina University and a MS in Human Resources from Troy State University.

Scott

Scott Arvay

VP, Sales and Business Development

Scott serves as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development. He spent nearly a decade as the Executive Pastor for The Bible Chapel in McMurray, PA and has extensive knowledge of sales and management best practices with experience working with companies such as Cognos Incorporated, SuccessFactors, and Apropos Technology. Scott joined the ACS Technologies family in 2018. He has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Duquesne University and an MA from Dallas Theological Seminary. Scott currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for ANA Panama, a ministry focused on the care of abandoned and orphaned children in Panama City, Panama.

Steve

Steve Cumbia

Vice President, Technology

Steve serves as the Vice President of Technology and oversees the programming, quality assurance, and product design departments. He was instrumental in developing various platforms including CP/M, MS-DOS, Novel, Zenix, Unix, AIX, Windows, and .Net for the company’s many products. He has been with the company since 1982 and started in the programming department. Steve has a degree in management science from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University.

Master Jedi Gilman

John Gilman II

Vice President, Marketing

As the Vice President of Marketing. John  is responsible for Marketing’s overall corporate strategy and direction. Story teller, promoter, problem solver to churches of all sizes and shapes. Brand ambassador, content creator, and communicator. John has traveled the world working with prominent non-profit ministries and has led marketing initiatives for mega-brands like Walt Disney, Coca Cola, Ford, Johnson & Johnson, NASCAR, and TV Guide to name a few. John studied Communications at Oral Roberts University and has begun a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership at Regent University. He also serves on the board of directors for Dayspring International.

Donna

Donna Howell

Vice President, Client Experience

Donna is the Vice President of Client Experience and is responsible for planning and operations of the customer support department. Her focus is on customer satisfaction and client retention. Donna has also served as a Customer Support Manager. She actually started as a support representative in 1985, when the company was still called Computer Dimensions. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Lander College.

Nolan

Nolan Martin

Vice President, Product Management

Nolan serves as the Vice President of Product Management and is responsible for the planning and development of the product lifecycle, roadmap, and strategic vision of ACS Technologies products. He joined the ACS Technologies family in 2017 with over 20 years of product management and technology experience with companies such as Social Solutions Global, Inc., Xerox Services, and MSI Network Services. Nolan has a Bachelor of Arts in Government, a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

Pattie

Pattie White

Vice President, Planning

Pattie plays an integral role in key areas across the company, including project management, business partnerships, operational excellence, and more. She has also served as the Senior Director of Product Management and the Senior Director of Enterprise Churches. She has been instrumental in developing the company’s programs to leverage the power of the Internet. Pattie joined ACS Technologies in 1995 and has served in many departments and leadership roles during her tenure. Prior to that, she worked in advertising and brand management leadership with Procter & Gamble. She also worked with Koinonia Partners, the birthplace of Habitat for Humanity. Pattie earned her bachelor’s degree from Duke University and an MBA from Columbia University. Pattie attendees St. Catherine's Episcopal Church in Florence, SC.

Dean

Dean Lisenby

Vice President, Corporate Operations

Dean is the  VP of Corporate Operations and is responsible for ensuring our staff have the tools necessary to serve our customers well.  He is also responsible for Information Technology and all campus facilities.  Born and raised in South Carolina, He has a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems Management and serves on the board, and in leadership for a few local non-profit organizations.  His passions include helping others succeed.

Paige Tuttle

Chairman of the Board
Paige Tuttle is Chairman of the Board of ACS Technologies. She has held many leadership positions in the company during her 20 years of service, including the role of Vice President. Paige served as the Senior Director, Small Churches and she led the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) initiatives, which helped provide data analysis support for the company's business units and sales strategies. Paige was also over the Central Services department. In that role, her responsibilities included sales, vendor relations, and order processing for Forms and Supplies. Along with that, she oversaw order processing for all software orders and was responsible for add-on software sales. Her very first role with the company was as the assistant to the National Sales Manager.

Marvin Owen

President Emeritus
Marvin Owen is the President Emeritus of ACS Technologies and serves on the Board of Directors. He was the President of the company from 2014 until 2017 and he served as the Vice President and General Manager from 1998 until 2014. Under his leadership, the company’s customer support department grew and became better equipped to meet the needs of clients. Marvin also served as Programming Manager and was instrumental in developing a larger, more experienced programming department. He first joined ACS Technologies as a programmer and helped write the initial code for ACS. Marvin holds an undergraduate degree from Furman University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Tommy Rogers

Member
Tommy Rogers joined the Board of Directors in March of 2015. He currently serves as Vice President over the Carolinas within TD Bank's Global Security and Investigations Group. Tommy spent the past 15 years in the financial industry, working with Anchor Bank and Carolina First Bank before joining TD Bank. He graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Tommy is the son of the late Tom Rogers, who was one of the original investors in ACS Technologies.

Harris Rogers

The late Harris Rogers was the original investor and founder of ACS Technologies, formerly known as Computer Dimensions, Inc. With a background in accounting, computer programming, and church leadership positions, Harris knew churches would benefit from software designed specifically to meet their needs for managing membership, accounting, and contribution records. Harris passed away in December 2013.

Tom Rogers

The late Tom Rogers was one of the original investors in ACS Technologies and applied his success in business to help the company expand and succeed over its 30 year history. He served as Company President from November 2008 through April of 2014. South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford awarded Tom the Order of the Palmetto, the highest civilian honor. Tom passed away in April of 2014.

Billy Campbell

The late Billy Campbell was one of the original investors and principal shareholders in ACS Technologies. Through his business foresight, Billy knew providing a solid product and customer service would make ACS Technologies the leading technology provider for the church market. Even before churches considered using software of any kind, he supported the business so it was able to develop into a company prepared to meet the demands of the growing market. Billy was a Florence city councilman for eight years. He passed away in July 2015.
