Simplifying Your Church’s 941 Submissions This Quarter

Everyone is trying to simplify processes and eliminate excess paper around the office.  Whether its staff members communicating with each other, communication with the congregation, or sharing church details, everyone wants faster & simpler transmission of information.  Payroll and accounting processes should be no different.  Why continue, every quarter, to transmit your wages, employee counts, and taxes withheld via paper processes? Consider taking advantage of paperless filing of all your tax forms, including your 941 quarterly forms to the IRS. In addition to avoiding printing and mailing the form, 941 e-file system in ACST also gives you quick and easy status updates to ensure the IRS received your form – no more wondering if your form was received in the mail, only to receive a nasty letter from the IRS months later.

Quarterly payments are also simplified by going electronic.  You can electronically transmit payments up to $2500 every quarter with an easy ACH transaction.

Unlike e-filing W-2’s or 1099’s, 941 filing does require the user to have an IRS PIN.  Thankfully, the application process is simple, easy, and free inside of ACS products – just click on the PIN registration button in the same screen as you would go to e-file.  The PIN registration process does require the IRS to mail you a form which can take some time – we highly suggest getting started immediately on the PIN registration if you are even thinking about e-filing your 941 forms for the 1st Quarter since it is already March.

If you have questions about how to get to the PIN Registration screen, contact ACST support and they will be happy to direct you to the correct location to get you on the road to fast and easy quarterly filing!
