API for Developers
Create a customized solution for your church using our API.
Our Access ACS API is a collection of web service calls that provide information on username, password, profile data, groups, volunteers and more from the Access ACS database. Our ACS Facility Scheduler API provides information about events. Developers can work with these calls to communicate this data to their own application or create a new application.
How does it work?
Our Access ACS APIs work with the data inside Access ACS; therefore, you must have Access to use the API. If you use the ACS Facility Scheduler API, you must have ACS Facility Scheduler. You can code directly to the API yourself or work with a third-party company to code for you.
When using the Access ACS API, data changes are accepted as part of the change request system, but the ACS Facility Scheduler API does not allow you to upload data.

What are clients doing with it?
APIs can benefit your ministry in many ways. Clients have actively used our API for years, and here are a few examples of how they use it:
- One church authenticates users for private pages on their Web site by using their login and password from Access ACS. This keeps them from having to create, communicate, and manage two usernames and passwords for all of their members, while providing a seamless user experience.
- Another church created an entire user site with their own design and functionality. This site uses the username and login, but it also shows the members their basic profile information, as well as allows updates and information lookup.
- One church developed a mobile app exclusively for their congregation and uses the ACS Facility Scheduler API to pull events.
- Another church set up an application aiding in forecasting giving trends.
