History

Founded over 30 years ago in Grand Junction, CO, Canyon View Vineyard Church has grown from a small congregation of 25 to serving hundreds on a weekly basis. Canyon View Vineyard Church has a mission to make disciples to reach the unreached and puts that into practice. Their congregation supports nearly 40 national and international missionaries tasked with taking the Gospel to those who are lost. In addition to spreading the Good News outside of their walls, they also have dozens of Life Groups and volunteer opportunities for members and visitors to find community and fellowship.

Challenge

After using another solution for years and continuing to face difficulty getting staff and attendees to actually use the software, Canyon View Vineyard Church began looking for something new. With a growing congregation and leadership wary of new technology, they needed something easy to use. It had to have functional communication tools and multiple ways to see how and where people were connecting with their ministry so they could focus on actively fulfilling their mission.

Solution

That’s when they turned to Realm. They discovered an all-inclusive solution that gave them ways to communicate with members (and let them communicate back!), online giving options, and groups to track attendance and engagement. Switching to a new system became a game-changer for Canyon View Vineyard Church as they’ve been able to turn their attention toward connection and discipleship instead of fighting with an outdated system. And that one change has made all the difference for their ministry as they continue to grow and impact their community and the world.

“Realm is really user friendly. It’s easy to gather the information we need. It’s just easy to keep track of our people and easy for them to interact with, stay focused on, and communicate back with us as much as we communicate with them.”
