Easter is a wonderful opportunity to reach new people, grow your church giving, engage more with families, and expand the Kingdom of God. With time running short, we wanted to give your church or parish the tools you’ll need to grow your attendance and giving leading up to and after Easter.
Personal Invites
The most effective way to grow your church is by extending personal invitations. Create a personal invite that you can give to your congregants or parishioners so they can print them at home. Encourage them to customize the invitations and use them to encourage their friends, family, neighbors, etc., to join your Easter service either in-person or online.
Website Banners
Leading up to Easter, add a banner or pop-up to your website with your Easter service details and a “Plan Your Visit” link. Have it take potential visitors to a simple webpage. You can help visitors plan their visit by making general information readily available. Include everything from service times, your service flow, parking details, kids activities, to attire. This is a great way to make visitors feel comfortable if they visit your church for the first time. And it allows you to get their contact information to follow up and thank them for attending.
Worship Slides
Creating a worship announcement slideshow is another excellent way to remind your members of your Easter service and the various giving options you offer. You can even give them instructions on setting up giving on the phone via a slide before your service starts.
Social Media Graphics
Want to connect with your congregants and those potentially planning to visit your church or parish this Easter? Social media is a great way to capture their attention. Ask your congregants to share your posts to reach even more people!
Bulletin Inserts and Pew Cards
Take advantage of all the ways you can remind your congregation and parishioners of your Easter activities. Ads in your bulletin are eye-catching and easy to add, especially when we give them to you. And what about pew cards? Give your parishioners something to read and take with them as a reminder.
Don’t Forget the Kids on Easter!
Why not get your children’s ministry involved in all the fun? Give out coloring pages in the weeks leading up to Easter. Or save them all as a small gift to hand out after your Easter service.
Conclusion
Use these customizable tools to:
- Get more people to come to your Easter service
- Grow your church by turning first-time guests into regular attendees
- Increase giving by mastering donation requests
- Engage children and keep them (and their parents) coming back!
