Items to Keep Your Congregation Safe after Reopening

janitors

With states opening back up now is the time to think about how you want to reopen your church. Keeping your congregation safe will be a top priority. Providing everyone with masks and hand sanitizer is a must.

Place masks and mask dispensers as people are coming into the church. You can buy a dispenser that has hand sanitizer, masks, and tissues. Encourage your congregation to bring their own mask if they have one but if not provide a mask for them. You can even have masks custom made with your church’s logo.

Touch-free hand sanitizing stations are a great way to keep your congregation safe and healthy. You can place them by the doors so your congregation can use them as they are coming in and leaving the service. You can buy the stand-alone stations by visiting here. Also, buying the tabletop hand sanitizing stations to place around the church will help as well.

Children’s workers and volunteers will also need disinfectant wipes, disinfectant sprays, paper towels, and gloves. Let the volunteers know how often and when you want them to sanitize the rooms and toys for the kids.

We are facing a lot of unknowns right now but we do know that keeping a clean environment can reduce the spread of the virus. Using these items will greatly reduce the fear of your congregation returning to church. We are called to worship together so let’s make sure we have a safe environment to worship in.
