Introducing MinistryPlatform Microsites

Your website is the virtual front door and usually the first impression visitors have into your church or parish. However, customizing widgets for your website can be a lot of work, especially if you’re unfamiliar with all the technical nuts and bolts. Now, we have MinistryPlatform Microsites that can provide the same functionality as some of our Widgets, without the configuration!

What is a Microsite?

A MinistryPlatform Microsite is a website with its own URL that our awesome MinistryPlatform Dev Team already has set up for you which will contain basic widgets:

  • Online Directory
  • My Profile
  • My Household
  • My Contribution Statement
  • My Giving
  • My Pledges

Once you add the link to your church or parish Microsite to your website, members can easily navigate to it, log in, and view and manage their information.

Why do I need a Microsite?

Do you want to offer the functionality of our basic Widgets listed above without the whole gamut of Widgets available?

Do you prefer someone else do the configuration of your Widgets for you, even if it means you don’t have all the customization options you have with Widgets?

Are you struggling with a small staff, a staff that is overloaded already, or less tech-savvy staff members, but still want to offer the basic Widgets to your members?

If your answer to any of the questions above is a “yes”, then Microsites is for you! We do all the work and you simply add the URL for each Microsite you need to your website. You can even add an image to the welcome page of the Microsite so your members can easily identify your church or parish when they click the link from your website.
