I stumbled onto this quote today. HMMM, it’s really true. We are such social beings. I think this quote could be used for all kinds of words in the English language. Love, Hate, Frustration, Satisfaction, Kindness. What makes us fall in love someone or something? Let’s explore a couple of Love ideas.
There’s the kind of love that comes from our Heavenly Father. It’ the BEST kind, agape love. The love that is unconditional and required sacrifice. This kind of love transcends all other kinds of love. Agape love certainly gives meaning to this four letter word. I don’t know about you, but I am most thankful for this one. No matter what may happen, this love is secure and steadfast.
Then there’s that kind of love that gives you the gushy, butterflies in stomach, cheesy grin kind of feeling. You know that feeling. The one that makes your heart beat a little faster and takes your breath away ( a little) with just a kiss. I’d say that person gives love a meaning. It’s the feeling everyone associates with love, but it takes a little more than feeling to be in love. Words like devotion, respect and honor come to mind.
I’d also argue that we use this word “love” when talking about products and services. Think about it. If I have a remarkable experience (not just satisfactory), I kinda fall in love with that company. It’s just a little crush. Not quite the same as butterflies and fast heartbeats…but it adds a little WOW to my day. It makes me feel special.
So, my focus at ACS is about the user experience. ACS always strives to provide the best products and services to clients, and that’s where I fit in. I know you use our products to help you further God’s kingdom. Tell me how you accomplish ministry in your Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. I want you to have that cheesy grin on your face when you think about our products and services. What would make you ridiculously happy or just make your ministry easier. Let me know!
