December 18, 2017, Florence, S.C. – ACS Technologies®, the world’s leading provider of church management software and service solutions, awards Marvin Owen the title of President Emeritus after 34 years with the company. As an owner and member of the Board of Directors, Owen will continue to govern the company toward continued future growth while strategically working alongside key churches and other businesses to identify and achieve increasing value for all churches and denominations.
Owen joined ACS Technologies as a programmer in 1983 and was instrumental in writing the initial code for ACS software. He has served in several positions since, including Programming Manager, Vice President and General Manager from 1998-2014, and President from 2014-2017. Owen has not only helped steer the company to substantial growth in revenue, employee size and clients served, but has also helped establish the company’s reputation as the leader in the Church Management Software (ChMS) industry. ACS Technologies is known for being the most trusted and respected ChMS provider.

He will also work with business leaders seeking alignment strategies for combined benefit to those same church needs. Owen is a widely recognized thought leader in the church technology space and will continue to be a keynote speaker at the annual Ideas to Impact Conference (www.ideastoimpact.com) as well as speaking at other local and national events.
