ACS Church Life Mobile App Updated to Include Organizations

Staff at organizations now able to view important data on their phones

Florence, SC: September 16, 2013 - ACS Technologies, the world’s leading provider of church management software solutions, has released an update to the free mobile app, ACS Church Life, for Android and Apple iPhone to include information that organizations can use to better support their respective faith communities. Using their phones, staff at organizations can quickly view the data they track in the ACS Organizations and ACS People modules.

"We’re excited to offer this update for our clients at organizations," said Bonnie McCune, Product Specialist, ACS Technologies. "The ability for organizations to view their data as well as the staff affiliated with an organization on a mobile device has been a high request. Organizations’ staff will find this dual access to both ACS People and ACS Organizations very helpful since so much of their ministry is done out of the office." McCune added.

This update will allow staff at organizations to better support the operations of their faith communities. Data that staff can view from ACS Church Life includes the following:

  • Contact information for churches within the organization
  • Maps and addresses for churches
  • Current active staff member information
  • Images associated with churches

"As our workforce becomes more and more mobile, viewing information on-the-go becomes absolutely crucial," said Scott Welborn, Database Coordinator, Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina. "The Church Life app allows our users to get what they need when they need it. With the inclusion of organizations, not only can users contact our people, but they can also contact our churches, thus strengthening relationships and connections between them and the Diocese."
