5,000 churches join ACST family
May 23, 2019, Florence, S.C. – ACS Technologies®, the world’s leading provider of church management software and service solutions, announces the acquisition of By the Book, Inc., a church software company that serves approximately 5,000 churches nationwide.

By the Book clients will join the nearly 50,000 ministries ACS Technologies currently serves and will have the opportunity in the coming months to transition seamlessly from their current church management software (ChMS) Roll Call to ACS Technologies’ all-in-one cloud-based tool Realm®.
“We believe Realm is the perfect replacement for Roll Call,” the Conleys said. “Honestly, it’s a major improvement over Roll Call for so many reasons. Of course Realm handles all the back office administrative tasks that you would expect in a ChMS, but it takes things a step further with community and accounting tools as well.”
Roll Call will continue to be supported until May 2021 so ministries have time to transition to Realm.
