ACS Technologies® Holds 26th Annual Ideas to Impact Conference

Clients learn about latest tools, resources, and training for ministry implementation

Florence, SC: April 15, 2013 – ACS Technologies, the world’s leading provider of church management software solutions, held its 26th annual Ideas to Impact Conference in Orlando, FL. Over 800 attendees from churches, parishes, and organizations participated in this year’s conference. Pastors, lay leaders, and administrators from all over the country came to learn about the latest tools, ideas, resources, software training, and ministry implementation to take back to their churches, schools, and organizations.

“This was one of the best conferences yet,” said Cynthia Fancher, a church financial manager in Texas. “I love being able to talk to ACS Technologies staff members one-on-one. The best part about the Ideas to Impact Conference is learning new ways our ministry can make an impact in our community,” Fancher added.

On Tuesday night, clients and staff enjoyed a kick-off luau on the beach at the Coronado Springs Resort. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings began with Mass, praise and worship, breakfast, and keynote speeches. Clients had over 200 classes to choose from during the week, with topics such as “Online Giving: How it can Impact your Church,” “ACS and The City Together for Strategic People Management,” and “Data Integrity: Empowering your Staff and your Church Body.” The Resource Center was available for clients to watch demonstrations, ask staff members questions, visit over 20 vendors, and win prizes.

“This is my first time attending the Ideas to Impact Conference – it has been so eye-opening, “said Jerlen Nelson, a Christian school business administrator in Mississippi. “It’s allowed me to see areas in our ministry where we can grow and it’s also allowed me to meet other people who are using the software, so we can feed off of each other,” added Nelson.

“We really enjoyed this year’s Ideas to Impact Conference – each year, we strive to make it better for our clients” said John Gilman, Executive Director, Marketing, ACS Technologies. “The best part about the conference is making personal connections with our clients – they are the reason we do what we do. We’re looking forward to next year’s conference in Nashville,” added Gilman.

Plans are underway for the 2014 Ideas to Impact Conference, which will be held May 27-30 in Nashville, TN. Check out a tentative list of classes and stay updated by joining the ACS Technologies Facebook Event page.
