History

Founded in 2002 in Nashville, TN, Cross Point Church has expanded rapidly over the last two decades to include six physical campuses in the greater Nashville area and one extremely active online campus. With a vision to help people find and follow Jesus, Cross Point is committed to being a church where everyone’s welcome, nobody’s perfect, and anything’s possible.

Challenge

Cross Point Church has seen exponential growth over the last 20 years, but as they grew, they began to see challenges with their database and management system. The tool they were using couldn’t keep up with all of the things Cross Point needed to do to care for all of their members and visitors. They struggled with hitting ceiling after ceiling as they attempted to force their software to do what their ministry called for. Eventually, they realized that they were actually hurting their ministry by limiting their growth and progress to what their solution was capable of managing.

Solution

They found their answer with MinistryPlatform. Completely customizable in every area from giving to groups, reporting, and mobile app development, there are no more caps on what Cross Point can do. With an emphasis on knowing people, MinistryPlatform has given the church leadership at Cross Point tools they’ve never had and the ability to finally see each attendee as more than just a data point in a report.

“The ease and robustness that we have in MinistryPlatform to care for the people walking through our doors on the weekend is a big selling point for us. It’s a system that’s incredibly powerful yet super easy, that at the end of the day, helps us as a church to accomplish the mission. We have a system that works for us and not us having to work for a system. I would recommend MinistryPlatform all day every day to churches that don’t have it.”
