ACS Church Life users applaud the new features of the app
Florence, SC: May 24, 2013 – ACS Technologies, the world’s leading provider of church management software solutions, has released updates of the free mobile app, ACS Church Life, for Android and for Apple iPhone. Church Life’s updates provide a new mobile giving feature, improved congregational data, maps for home and hospital visits, and organizational tools.
A new feature of the Church Life app includes the mobile giving tool. This feature allows contributors to make a donation anytime, anywhere, from their mobile phone or iPad. “We are pleased to add the mobile giving functionality to the app so that contributors can easily give towards the work of the church,” said Sally Grantham, Senior Project Manager, R&D, ACS Technologies. All published funds are available for members to quickly and easily make their contributions.
“I have loaded the app on my phone and love the new mobile giving feature!” said Kristin Brice, a church administrator in North Carolina. Users are praising the convenience of the mobile giving tool, both for the church staff and for the congregation. “Our church members are going to love the convenience of being able to give with one click. And knowing that our staff can easily manage those contributions is a huge plus,” Brice added.
ACS Church Life uses the security settings associated with an individual, restricting access to events and contact information according to the individual’s permissions level. Another feature of the latest release is the ability to add tasks, complete them, or reassign them to other staff members.
The app is used frequently by church staff to visit members of the church – at home or at the hospital. With the new updates to the app, staff members can view and complete all of their connection tasks on the phone. Staff can also enter secure comments and notes about their visits.
