History of Mpug
It’s 2011.
Back then, most of our customers were also in the Church IT Network. Church IT Network used to put on regional gatherings. They still do. But this time, a number of MP users decided to get together on the heels of the CITN gathering and use the time just to talk MP.
And MPUG was born. Behold our first-ever MinistryPlatform User Group gathering.
Now…it’s 2023.
And CITN is hosting another one of their conferences. Just like in the good ole days, we are welcoming MP users to get together on the heels of CITN and use the time just to talk MP!
Can we just take a moment and celebrate?
As part of going back to our roots, MPUG is going to look a lot like it did in the olden days:

- One-day event
- Community-led. We’ll be looking to you, our MP churches, to facilitate conversations, share your challenges, exchange solutions, and network network network!
- Training sessions will not be offered. Look for training at our virtual MinistrySmart Conference this September.
Join us for MPUG on Monday, November 6, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, hosted at Family Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Lunch and snacks will be provided. The CITN Conference kicks off with their meet and greet that same day at 6:00 pm.
