The City Enhances Its Ministry-Centered Social Networking Experience by Adding New EBible Tool

The City users celebrate the fun and easy way to study and share the Bible online

Florence, SC –The City, the most popular social network made exclusively for churches, has added an Embeddable Bible tool through eBible.com. The Embeddable Bible tools allow The City clients quick access to scripture, Bible study tools, sharing functions and more – all features that enrich personal discipleship that The City helps to cultivate. The free mobile apps available for iPhone and iPad make accessing the eBible.com feature within The City even easier for every day, anywhere Bible study.

“We really love the work eBible.com has done, and they’re constantly improving their product with more functionality,” said Joe Filbrun, Product Owner for The City. “We’re very excited to give users access to the eBible.com experience within The City; we know it will help deepen their walk with Christ.”

The City is a private, online social network created specifically for the ministry of the church. Churches all over the country are using The City to build and deepen relationships, empower church groups to share life and ministry throughout the week, strengthen their children’s ministry through user-friendly check-in, enable the full donation cycle, and help members of the church community new and old to grow closer together. The addition of the eBible.com tools will give users of The City quick access to scripture through the Internet, including the ability to read, highlight, bookmark, and save notes. Other features such as Verse of the Day and verse sharing via The City also boost Bible centric social connections within The City.

“We are very excited about partnering with The City and offering eBible.com’s new Embeddable Bible tool to their platform to increase their users’ Bible reading experience. We believe it will further enhance the ministry focus of The City with our unique and super easy-to-use Bible study tool,” said Alex Sum, Vice President of Partnerships for eBible.com.
