Frequently asked questions
What if our parish is using PDS Connects or Parish.mobi?
Parish Life replaces both and provides one place for both staff and parishioners to view the parish directory, make contributions and view contribution history, view Mass times and parish activities, and more. Those using PDS Connects or Parish.mobi can completely transition to the Parish Life parishioner portal.
What if our parish is already using Abundant for online giving?
Parish Life integrates with Abundant, meaning your parishioners simply have one more option to give online or using their mobile browser by logging into the Parish Life parishioner portal. They will see your parish’s giving form when they click “Give Now” in the portal. They can continue to give via text or through the Abundant mobile app.
Is this available for PDS OnDemand and Desktop?
PDS Desktop users will need to upgrade to PDS OnDemand to use PDS Parish Life. To find out more about upgrading, contact 1-800-736-7425 and select option 1.
Can parish staff see profile changes made by parishioners?
The sync process displays the existing Church Office data on one side of the screen and the modified Parish Life data on the other side of the screen for each member (who has made a change), and they can compare the two, select which items they want to keep, or mark all changes at once.
