Example Opportunities

Our internships are available year-round and run for at least 12 weeks. We expect our interns to devote as many hours as possible to their internship in order to fully experience and contribute to the work. We look for interns in these areas:

Developers (Web & Mobile)

You’ll be placed in an Agile team and put to work immediately coding innovative applications for our customers. You’ll flex your coding muscles on a daily basis and be challenged by your team to solve problems and come up with creative solutions that serve our customers.


You’ll solve problems and work on state-of-the-art equipment that keeps the company and our customers up and running – a big responsibility!

Product Management

As a Product Management intern, you will work side-by-side with our product management team to gain an understanding of market and product research, requirements gathering, and feature prioritization. In turn, you will help ensure we deliver valuable and meaningful products.

Joe Koehling

President & CEO

Joe serves as President & CEO. In this role, Joe is primarily responsible for strategic and financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment management. Joe came to ACS Technologies in 2018 from Aspen Grove Landscape Group where he served as the Regional Manager of Finance. With more than 30 years of financial management experience, Joe has lent his talents to companies throughout the country such as Whittman-Hart, Inc., Thomson Learning, and Immediate Impact Group. He has a bachelor’s degree from Thomas More College. Joe currently serves on the Board of Directors for several ministries including Imago Dei Christian Fellowship, The Father’s House, and Mark Barclay Ministries.

Toye Folarin

Toye Folarin

Chief Financial Officer

Toye serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and provides financial and business guidance in developing and executing the company’s strategy, ensuring the business meets critical milestones and objectives. Toye has over 20 years of experience in strategic and financial planning, driving business growth, margin expansion, and building an inclusive team. He previously worked with Anthem Inc., Stanley Black & Decker, General Electric, and Deloitte. Toye received his MBA from Xavier University, Cincinnati, OH. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant and holds a fellowship at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). Toye is active in Imago Dei Christian Fellowship and participates in mission works in Africa, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Dean Lisenby

Dean Lisenby

Chief Integrations Officer

Dean is the  VP of Corporate Operations and is responsible for ensuring our staff have the tools necessary to serve our customers well.  He is also responsible for Information Technology and all campus facilities.  Born and raised in South Carolina, He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems Management and serves on the board, and in leadership for a few local non-profit organizations.  His passions include helping others succeed.

Robert Gettys

Robert Gettys

Chief Technical Officer

As the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), Robert provides strategic vision and leads the team that designs, develops, and maintains products for our ministry partners. He has led product development and engineering in multiple industries. Robert has also worked in operations and business development, which keeps him focused on understanding and solving clients’ problems. Robert has served enterprise clients like Michelin, Greystar, Joann Fabrics, and Bridgestone while working at several companies, including Fluor, iPower Distribution Group, Fabric Editions, and Grace Hill. With over 30 years of experience, Robert is excited to combine his faith and career at ACS Technologies. Robert and his family are active members of Aldersgate UMC in Greenville, SC.


Donna Howell

Chief Customer Officer & Chief Operations Officer

Donna is the Chief Customer Officer and is responsible for strategic planning and operations of the customer experience organization. This includes Implementation, Ministry Success, Learning, Training, and Customer Service. Donna’s focus and passion has always been for our ministry partners as she has worked in the service part of the organization her entire career. Donna graduated from Lander College with a BS Degree in Computer Science and joined the company in 1985 as a Customer Support Representative. She is always striving to provide the best services possible through our dedicated team members who have a heart for serving.


Cary Ashworth

Chief People Officer

Cary serves as the Chief People Officer and has implemented several productive programs and processes for the company. He joined ACS Technologies in 2012 with more than 20 years of progressive and strategic Human Resources leadership experience from multinational corporations such as Roche Pharmaceuticals, Becton Dickinson, and Baxter Healthcare International. He has a Doctorate of Education in Organization Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, a business administration degree from East Carolina University and a MS in Human Resources from Troy State University.


Steve Cumbia

Vice President, Data

Steve serves as the Vice President of Data and oversees the programming, quality assurance, and product design departments. He was instrumental in developing various platforms including CP/M, MS-DOS, Novel, Zenix, Unix, AIX, Windows, and .Net for the company’s many products. Our vision is to “Unify our data and make it accessible.” This includes:

  • Building a more robust data warehouse to support decision making
  • Promoting and strengthening the data culture across the organization
  • Documenting key concepts, data dictionaries, and critical business rules in the data warehouse
  • Consolidating corporate and product data in views that support data science

Steve has been with the company since 1982 and started in the programming department. He has a degree in management science from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University.

Master Jedi Gilman

John Gilman II

Vice President, Marketing

As the Vice President of Marketing, John  is responsible for Marketing’s overall corporate strategy and direction. Story teller, promoter, problem solver to churches of all sizes and shapes. Brand ambassador, content creator, and communicator. John has traveled the world working with prominent non-profit ministries and has led marketing initiatives for mega-brands like Walt Disney, Coca Cola, Ford, Johnson & Johnson, NASCAR, and TV Guide to name a few. John studied Communications at Oral Roberts University and has begun a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership at Regent University. He also serves on the board of directors for Dayspring International.

Thomas Brown

Thomas Brown

Vice President, Sales and Business Development

As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Thomas is responsible for the company’s overall sales production through multiple sales channels. “My team and I serve the entire faith-based market in the U.S. and Canada with multiple software and technology solutions. I love technology and love seeing our ministry partners put that technology to work in their ministries.” Born and raised in Florence, S.C., Thomas has over 20 years experience in sales and marketing leadership. He holds a degree in business and is currently pursuing an Organizational Leadership degree. He loves seeing people move outside of their comfort zone and exceed their goals. In addition to the work he does at ACS Technologies, he volunteers with several organizations, including a local ministry here in Florence.

Chuck Salter

Chuck Salter

Vice President, MissionInsite and Ministry Advancement

Rev. Chuck Salter is Vice President of MissionInsite & Ministry Advancement for ACS Technologies and a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Chuck was a co-founder of MissionInsite, a web-based software solution providing community demographics and data analytics to nearly 200 faith-based agencies representing over 100,000 local churches. MissionInsite became part of the ACS Technologies family in October 2019.  Chuck is a clergy member of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church.  As an ordained United Methodist minister, he has over 30 years’ experience in the strategic use of community demographic information. He has served as a church planter and denominational executive responsible for leading missional development and ministry advancement.
Fun fact – Chuck is also a “Corvette Guy”!  He has photos of his family AND his car!

Chris Kehayias

Chris Kehayias

Vice President, Technology Innovation and Advancement

Chris serves as the Vice President of MinistryPlatform, which provides the most powerful and flexible Church Management System for membership, group involvement, check-scanning, contributions, event management, check-in, and public website integration – including online giving and online event registration. The rapidly growing ecosystem around MinistryPlatform allows flexible integration with the top applications in the Church market through a robust API. He leads the team finding new ways to help the Church engage with people by using information: “My team is passionate about boldly using the tools available today to help get ministry done!”

Chris was CEO of Think Ministry / MinistryPlatform before merging with ACS Technologies in April 2021.

Marvin Owen

Chairman of the Board
Marvin Owen is the Chairman of the Board and President Emeritus of ACS Technologies. He was the company's president from 2014 until 2017 and served as the Vice President and General Manager from 1998 until 2014. Under his leadership, the company's customer support department grew and became better equipped to meet clients' needs. Marvin also served as Programming Manager and was instrumental in developing a more extensive, more experienced programming department. He first joined ACS Technologies as a programmer and helped write the initial code for ACS. Marvin holds an undergraduate degree from Furman University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Paige Tuttle

Paige Tuttle was the Chairman of the Board of ACS Technologies from 2015-2022. She followed in her father's footsteps, the late Billy Cambell, one of the company's original investors and long-time board chairman. She has held many leadership positions in the company during her 20 years of service, including the role of Vice President. Paige served as the Senior Director of Small Churches. She led the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) initiatives, which helped provide data analysis support for the company's business units and sales strategies. Paige was also over the Central Services department. In that role, her responsibilities included sales, vendor relations, and order processing for Forms and Supplies. Additionally, she oversaw order processing for all software orders and was responsible for add-on software sales. Her very first role with the company was as the assistant to the National Sales Manager.

Tommy Rogers

Tommy Rogers joined the Board of Directors in March of 2015. He currently serves as Vice President over the Carolinas within TD Bank's Global Security and Investigations Group. Tommy spent the past 15 years in the financial industry, working with Anchor Bank and Carolina First Bank before joining TD Bank. He graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Tommy is the son of the late Tom Rogers, who was one of the original investors in ACS Technologies.



Harris Rogers

The late Harris Rogers was the original investor and founder of ACS Technologies, formerly known as Computer Dimensions, Inc. With a background in accounting, computer programming, and church leadership positions, Harris knew churches would benefit from software designed specifically to meet their needs for managing membership, accounting, and contribution records. Harris passed away in December 2013.

Tom Rogers

The late Tom Rogers was one of the original investors in ACS Technologies and applied his success in business to help the company expand and succeed over its 30 year history. He served as Company President from November 2008 through April of 2014. South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford awarded Tom the Order of the Palmetto, the highest civilian honor. Tom passed away in April of 2014.

Billy Campbell

The late Billy Campbell was one of the original investors and principal shareholders in ACS Technologies. Through his business foresight, Billy knew providing a solid product and customer service would make ACS Technologies the leading technology provider for the church market. Even before churches considered using software of any kind, he supported the business so it was able to develop into a company prepared to meet the demands of the growing market. Billy was a Florence city councilman for eight years. He passed away in July 2015.
